You never thought of the day.

When love would waltz into your life again.
You dance to avoid the pain.
You remember the last time you danced with this emotion.

It turned from a beautiful waltz.
To a savage sacrificial dance.

With your heart on the line,
you danced to avoid the pain.

But you were too caught up in it.
Too far deep.
No time to move
No time to react.

But now you're dancing on your toes.
But you see that you're beginning to fail.

Clearly this dance out ranks you.
You're weak.
You will succumb
It's only a matter of time.
You know it.
They know it.

Before you know it.
Your body is moving.
Moving to them already.

You feel your heart,
It knows.

This is the second coming.
Your second dance.
